The Open Academy Step by Step participates in the international HEAD project with the goal of professional development of primary and secondary school principals from Croatia and Macedonia in order to create an inclusive schools climate.
The activities of the Open Academy Step by Step are aimed at supporting primary school principals. They include the design of professional development programmes for principals with an emphasis on the nurturing of inclusive school climate, implementation of professional development programmes for principals, analysis of the impact of professional development programmes for principals and policy change advocacy activities.
Project coordinator is the "Network of Education Policy Centers" (NEPC).
MATERIALS

The policy road maps for Croatia and North Macedonia provide policy recommendations and steps that would empower school principals to create an inclusive school culture.

The Curriculum Framework: Empowering School Leaders For Developing Inclusive School Cultures aims to support organizations that provide and are responsible for the CPD of school leadership, with a tool to create programs, modules, and trainings.

The overall objective of the project was to support schools in creating an inclusive school culture by empowering school principals in primary and secondary schools to create and support inclusive school policies and practices through participatory decision-making (NEPC, 2020).
